Aquaculture at sea - from niche to industry
In response to call-to-actions from the aquaculture industry and R&D environments, Blue Competence Center has written a report on offshore aquaculture. The project is financed by Trøndelag County Municipality, as the development of offshore aquaculture is anchored in the regional strategy for value creation in Trøndelag. Based on interviews with key decision-makers in offshore aquaculture, the report sheds light on the needs of business related to the development of offshore aquaculture from niche to industry. The aim of the project has been to uncover what the business world sees as the most critical to being able to realize aquaculture at sea.
