At Hitra and Frøya on the Mid-Norway coast, the number of jobs has increased by 40 per cent in the last ten years.
It is the strongest job growth anywhere in the country in the same period. The two municipalities account for 2.4 per cent of employment in Trøndelag county, but more than a third of goods exports in the county.
