The Mermaid Network celebrates their 20th Anniversary with Mermaid, Marman and Mercompany of 2021

In relation to the Bridges deliverable 10.2 Company Micro-forums, Blue Competence Center is organizing the 20-year anniversary celebration on the 28th of august, 2021 at the AquaNor aquaculture fair. https://aquanor.no/en/

At the event, Blue Competence Center is handing out prizes for Mermaid, Merman and Mercompany of 2021!

The titles of Mermaid, Merman and Mercompany are new concepts from 2021 where Blue Competence Center wants to officially recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations in developing female entrepreneurship and participation in marine industries.

Blue Competence Center coordinates The Mermaid Network, which is a platform for female entrepreneurship and networking in marine industries. This is an arena for encouraging female partcipation in marine industries.

Prizes:

This year's Mermaid of the Year award went to Annik Magerholm Fet, Merman of the Year went to Alf-Gøran Knutsen, Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett As and Mercompany of the Year went to LetSea As. Delicious delicacies from the sea were served at the event by Fiskhandler'n Heimdal.
